This photo was taken on my RAMBLER'S camp which took place over the Easter weekend on the 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd & 24th of March 2007. The trip lasted 5 days and 4 nightsBluff Hut Alpine National Park; John, Rob, Angus, Josh, Mark, Benetia, Rhiannon.
For my PROJECT badge I embarked on learning the craft of archery. Part of this badge was to involve my crew and what a night of fun we had. I still attend archery every now and then, on a Sunday with the Archers that I made friends with over the six months of learning the craft.
My SERVICE BADGE was a hard one to choose there are so many worthy services that need volunteers; Save A Dog, St John First Aid, The Red Cross, Salvos & SPELD the list gos on and on and on. I chose to give back to the people that I found a home with 1st Camberwell South Scouts. They where in desperate need for Joey Scout AJSL so I signed up did my basic training and loved every moment of it. I plan on doing my advanced training for Joey scouts.

I found this badge the most difficult one of all four badge. You do not just need initiative but the full support of you crew. Thankfully I found this with John Gardiner Rovers, not only giving me their support through attending my camps but by encouraging me when I was struggling and sharing with me their experiences of scouting. You see I joined Rovers from off the street, not having a background in camping or scouting. Running these camps was a big challenge. So a big thank you to all of the members of JGR and from 1st Camberwell South Scouts.
The camp destinations were as followed: Gembrook, Toolangi, Gembrook, Lake Eildon, Point Leo, Bear Gully, Mt Baw Baw, Toorongo falls, Echuca, Moama State Forest.
